Some ingredients — like L-Theanine — can promote a sense of calm focus within 30–60 minutes of your first shot. Adaptogenic ingredients like Ashwagandha and Rhodiola work best with consistent daily use over two to four weeks. We recommend committing to a full box before making a judgement.

One shot per day is the recommended and formulated dose. The adaptogens and nootropics in Ptiséa Shots are included at evidence-based amounts for daily use — more is not more. If you want a different functional effect at a different time of day, consider pairing Verdana (morning focus) with Aura (evening calm).

As with any supplement or functional food product, we recommend consulting your GP or midwife before taking Ptiséa Shots during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Some adaptogenic and nootropic ingredients are not recommended during these periods.

Ptiséa Shots are crafted to taste genuinely pleasurable — not medicinal. Verdana opens with the bright citrus of yuzu and lemon verbena, finishing with a clean, vegetal note. Aura is warm and honeyed with bergamot. Élan is bold — ginger, blood orange, and a long, warming finish from turmeric and black pepper. Each one is worth the sip.

The Verdana and Aura shots contain a low dose of naturally occurring caffeine from green tea extract (approximately 40mg per shot, comparable to a weak cup of tea). The Élan shot contains no caffeine at all. All shots are suitable for use in the evening except for those personally sensitive to caffeine.

Ptiséa Shots are best stored in a cool, dark place. Refrigeration is not required before opening, but once opened — drink the full 60ml in one go. They do not contain preservatives, which is part of what makes them what they are. Best consumed within three months of purchase.
